Toyota owner in a 'bit of bovva' with broken glass
Hi all....

Hmm... where to start :-k

A guy on the Toyota OC here in UK has broken a piece of glass on his car >>

CAR is a Toyota Carina MKII Hatchback 1984 (T150 platform)

.... missing window :smt089

Glass is 'NLA', officially, & the Insurance hasn't found any from anywhere (using 'contacts') :(

My question is.... does anyone know of a shell/scrapper for this glass.

Does anyone [dealing with contacts over in Asia] know if this car (known as the Corona) is a scrapper out there?? [-o<

Bit of an ask.... but we petrol heads must stick together. Fellow is very upset that his minterr is 'effectively' Fragg-Fodder ATM.

here's hoping..... and thanks

\:D/ .....

Many thanks to our brother se325919 who tracked down a breaker [in OZ] with a panel on the shelf.

Contact is commencing and some good news then, for a change :P

Many Thanks

amct77 is getting a wooden case sorted out for the glass and arranging shipping.

A very kind act on behalf of a 'fellow petrolhead' and makes me feel humble, having merely 'shook the tree' to facilitate all this.

Good stuff :smt045

That's good going. It would have been a great shame to lose the car over a broken window. I'm glad someone is helping out.

Hiyya.... Just 'popped in' :smt045

All turned to sand, sadly.......

UK feller bought a minngerr/scrapper (and as well as the glass he scored for a 'car full' of Spares :-D )

Our mutual friend, in OZ, found it all a 'bit too much' to sort the whole box/logistics gig... so, has been relieved of duty....

"All's well.." >> as is said :-#
