Sometimes before you click on the smilie you need to click on where you want it last. Cause sometimes even the last place I written it wont allways go there. :smt023

So your getting as well then mate and there's me thinking I had lost the plot finally  .. just realised that if i do a few more spaces then the smilie will go in at the end of a sentance ..looks as tho the smilie is back spacing its self and thats why its ending up in the middle of a word some tim  es.. Doh done it again ](*,) big gap that time and it went where I wanted it to go..

Smilies are inserted by typing the relevant code, or clicking the icons (which insert the code for you), at the current cursor position. You may be (inadvertently) moving the cursor (easily done if using a laptop or smartphone) before typing the code or while clicking the smilie icon.

Dont know what you mean in the first one but I think its a desk top..PC is a big box and a seperate keypad..

Its got a mouse wired in and not wireless..

I click on the smilie I want and insert it that way..if I want one from the other list I click on VIEW MORE SMILIES and click on one of those..at the mo I hhave to end text with 6 spaces to get the smilie in the right place even then it doesnt always go in the right place..hope :D that helps <<<<< Ooops forgot the 6 s #-o paces <<<< Oops that was the result of 6 spaces after the text and it cocked up again even after 6 spaces

You should not need to add any spaces. Before you click a smiley, make sure the cursor is flashing at the point you want the smiley to go.

If you're still having the same issue I will need specific information about your computer, operating system, browser etc to try and replicate it.
