Can't apologise enough for bringing this thread back up, but I haven't been on for so long I didn't know about this until I saw Ash's signature on a reply to my mates post.

I don't wanna say he was a true gent, nice guy etc because that's all been said & we all know this.

But he was a great guy, told it like it was, & didn't hesitate to help.

I met him at Chatsworth, would of liked to of met him a bit more because of the type of guy he was, but I send my deepest to his family & friends.

Massively respected on here & always remembered, RIP fella.

I thought everyone would like to see Scott's plaque is in place at St Bees , a place that Scott truly loved.

Anyone wishing to see it, it's located on a bench at the entrance of Bay View caravans, Seacote caravan park , St Bees, Cumbria.

Again, thanks to everyone who helped make this possible.

That's a nice plaque.

But we really need to get some stainless or brass screws.
The most important nut is the one behind the wheel.

I do agree, but at this stage I'm just pleased that it's up - wasn't sure last year if the site owner would put it up, so was a pleasant surprise to find it this morning.

It also wants some brasso to clean up the brass.

A nice gesture - just such a shame the reason it is there at all.

The latest update with regard to acts of remembrance... is that Scott has now had a Blood Bike named after him. I assume this is due in part to the large sum donated in his memory... a reasonable portion of which was put together by his friends at the Proton Owners Club in addition to the monies raised from sale of his memorial car stickers (profits of which were donated to the blood bikes).

Me too. Saw the pics of Mandy and Co on the bike on Facebook as well. Great idea and memory to Scott, just a damn shame it's needed
