Post Scott - a sad farewell
It is with a heavy heart that I have to be the bearer of bad news with regard to one of our much loved members. I am deeply saddened to inform you that Scott Soulsby (known simply as Scott) was killed yesterday in a road traffic accident.

Scott was a major member and moderator of the Proton Owners Club and was one of its original members from the time of its conception. He will be missed tremendously - not only for his wit and wiseness, but also for his major contributions to this forum. I hope you will all join me in wishing his wife and children much love at this desperately sad time.

Scott - we will miss you mate. Rest easy dude.

I'm finding it difficult to want to type anything on here at the moment , I'll talk to Ant about doing something from the club.

I will update with any arrangements for funeral for anyone that wishes to attend when I hear.

Mark contacted me to let me know. I haven't been very active on here in a good while- Scott was such a lovely guy. Hobbit and I are devastated by this- I remember so many conversations with him in POC. Very saddened. Condolences to his family.

Felt I wanted to say a farewell to Scott here too, I had the pleasure of meeting Scott after buying his gti wheels off eBay for my then coupe, he introduced me to this club where I'm still friends with a few of you all on FB, very saddened to see his wife's post today. Top man was Scott
