Arrrrggggghhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got a letter saying so sorry we messed up and you reg EV03PRO doesn't exist, yet I have the tax disc and insurance, plus certificate to say it is mine, I check on the web and my truck has no mot in the reg, it's been moved back to the old on the doesn't f.king exist anymore....... Raging is an understatement as I was taking it to work tomorrow and it isn't the most under the radar vehicle...... I would get done and taken to court because of some pleb in an office.

Round of f.k's coming up in the morning, lets just say if you or someone that works at the dvla are meant to be in tomorrow, call in sick !!! :smt014

Bast*rd Luck there
- But as you have the Certificate and especialy the tax disc, I'd say stuff 'em and just carry-on as normal. If they've not yet sent you this information by registered post, then you could say that you hav'nt received it.

After all, they must have originally supplied these items and can't deny they have. No doubt they'll remind you tomorrow of the official DVLA line which is 'We don't make mistakes...'
- so that's gotta work both ways methinks ;)
Either way, I can't see them risking the aggro/loss of face they'd endure if anyone pulled you.

If you choose to entertain them in an argument, (I would'nt) and then somehow let them 'win' it, then I suggest you insist that they must re-imburse you with not just the cost of the reg, (if you bought it from them) but also all charges/losses you incurred over the years for retention fees, registration fees, cost of the physical plates themselves and phone calls/letters to them.

Don't engage with the idiots - and if you do, Don't let them get you down :  :-"

They didn't say sorry.... Just said they would sort it and it would take three to five days, I said that don't help me get to work though does it ?? Nothing was said by them but they may be able to see that I own two other cars and another truck

All of this might be the reason I haven't had the bloody V5 back yet and that was a month ago :(
