.... no, not to bloody car clubs!

My back door is a solid wooden 'fire door' affair, very sturdy!!!

Following the biblical downpour, of late, it has swollen and catches on our tiled floor inside.

Having given long consideration to the problem [f##k, take the door off? Likely!!]...... I formed a 'cunning plan'.

I sliced a bit of abrasive disc off one I had spare, used double sided tape to fix it to the tiled floor where the door bottom was 'snagging'...

Pulling the door steadily back and forth, over the abrasive strip, sliced a notch into the door bottom.. clearing the tile.

Job done... YaY

Then again you could have taken it off and planed it..

This is the problem with wooden doors and why so many nowadays go for PVC..no swelling in wet winter weather.. ](*,) got the same problem with the door from our garden to the rear side of our house..proper P.I.T.A.. #-o
